Ten Little Forumites

fandom: Gray Matter ~ genre: murder mystery/adventure/sci-fi/horror/romance/parody ~ rating: R ~ words: 30,516 ~ warnings: see website.

disclaimer: Gray Matter belongs to Jane Jensen, Anaconda and Wizarbox. I make no profit out of this, and I'm not taking credit for anything they created.

summary: Ten people from the CORT-X messageboard are invited to Dread Hill House for a deadly weekend.

comments: The story is mainly a murder mystery in the classic Clue style, but it mixes together murder mystery, science-fiction, romance, kinks, horror and thriller elements in a parodic style. It was influenced by many works of literature, game and film, including: Gray Matter, the Gabriel Knight series, Ten Little Indians, Clue, It, the Anita Blake series, and any bad horror movie you wish. The story spawned a few fanstuffs, including silly fanart, short snippets of fanfics and a trailer for which I had some nice voice acting volunteers from the ten. All of that is assembled on the story's website.

Hand of the Maker (available on request)

fandom: Nightrunner ~ genre: fantasy/adventure/romance ~ rating: NC-17 ~ pairing: Alec/Seregil ~ words: 45,036 ~ warnings: not crude, but graphic male/male romance; spoilers for the first two books in the series.

disclaimer: The Nightrunner universe belongs to its talented creator, Lynn Flewelling, not to me. I make no profit out of this, and I'm not taking credit for anything she created.

summary: After the events of Stalking Darkness, Alec and Seregil ride out together to get away from the nightmare they have barely escaped with their souls intact. They enjoy a short while of peace and each other, but soon enough they are having dark premonitions that say it is not over, and they cross paths with two assassins on a mission mysteriously connected with them. Alec and Seregil must build a bond that goes even deeper than romantic love, while using their nightrunning skills to unravel the web in which they are caught and prevent Plenimar from gaining a new edge in the ongoing war.

comments: I'll be glad to send it by email to anyone over 18 who requests it and is not legally obligated to "turn me in". =) I wrote 45,000 words in a week; I've never been this focused and inspired in my whole life. It'll always have a special meaning to me, and the Nightrunner fans who read it had only good things to say of it.

A Good Day to Die (a.k.a. A Good Gay to Dye)

fandom: Star Trek TOS ~ genre: parody ~ rating: NC-17 ~ pairing: Kirk/Spock, suggested Kirk/Dick (OC), suggested Sulu/Chekov ~ words: 16,847 ~ warnings: explicit male/male sex.

disclaimer: It's all Paramount's. Is it still Paramount?

summary: TOS parody. Silliness alert: Klingons! Clichés upon clichés! Ship in danger! Gay people! Kink! Horny dogs! Gary Stus! Pseudo-plot! Bad puns! Aaand... SMUT! Plus the answer to the world's most asked questions: Will Dick Hal be as perfect as he looks? Will Kirk and Spock ever kiss? And will any redshirt survive?

comments: You can see Dick Hal's portrait (drawn by auriond). An explanation of some phrases and quotes, and reference links are at the end of the story. Also, I want to make it clear that I actually like Chekov. This story was co-written with my dear friend titC. I wrote the Dick parts, she wrote the K/S sex, and the rest we did randomly. The link goes to the Side by Side issue where the story appeared, because it's NC-17 and I can't host it here, and this was easier. I'll reformat it and post it on my home comp later.

The Greatest Battle of All Was Gay

fandom: Alexander ~ genre: parody ~ rating: R ~ pairing: Alexander/Hephaistion, Alexander/Cassander and M+/M+, but don't count on hot and steamy scenes *g* ~ words: 980 ~ warnings: sort-of spoilers for the Gaugamela battle scenes, suggested male/male erotica.

disclaimer: I don't have any rights to the movie Alexander from which this is inspired, but the characters in this story belong to themselves and history. I'm making no money out of this.

summary: What really happened at Gaugamela.

comments: This is a crack fic that turns a perfectly good historical event into bad sexual puns and general debauchery. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is gay. Even the horse.

The Gray Path

fandom: Gabriel Knight ~ genre: adventure/fantasy/romance ~ rating: R ~ pairing: Gabriel/Von Glower ~ words: 26,563 ~ warnings: suggested male/male action, spoilers for Gabriel Knight 2 - The Beast Within.

disclaimer: The Gabriel Knight universe belongs to Jane Jensen. I'm making no profit from this and taking no credit for her things.

summary: Life would be so plain and boring if we only made the right decisions every time. Gabriel Knight knows this better than anyone. So on the fateful night of the Opera he decides to run on the gray path by von Glower's side. At first it seems like the land of eternal milk and honey, but he should know by now that nothing is as easy as it seems. Soon enough the two friends' path is crossed by an unexpected kind of danger-- one so hard to fight that they will need all the help they can get, even if it sometimes talks back at them.

comments: My first fanfic, my first lengthy story and my first gay romance. A GK2 alternate ending that received quite a large amount of attention in its time. I wrote it a long time ago, you'll forgive the mistakes.

The Silver-Fanged Boar

genre: poetry translation ~ rating: G ~ words: 530

disclaimer: The poem wasn't written by me, but by a talented Romanian poet, Stefan Augustin-Doinas. I didn't get his permission to translate this, but I mean no harm.

summary: It's the story of a Levantine prince who hunted for the elusive silver-fanged boar, while his servants laughed at him.

comments: My favorite Romanian poem; my translation doesn't do it justice.

original fiction

The Stone of Truth

genre: fantasy ~ rating: R ~ words: 10,626 ~ warnings: non-consensual sex, implied male/male sex, morbid themes, and I tend to kill off my original characters.

summary: Corqurst, queen of the Krallans, abandonned by her lover on the verge of battle, has had to make some difficult choices. She took a potion of forgetfulness that enabled her to.. well.. forget the Wanderer, and marry politically with cruel Lord Shrain Hialdan. But the mysterious dark enemy who burnt down her kingdom seems to want more from her.

comments: Prequel to the Tzel RP and sequel to the Past Forgotten by Time RP, but can be read as stand-alone fantasy story. The Quest for the Tzel RP was a very successful fantasy RP on a messageboard that isn't alive anymore. It was never finished, but it helped me develop my characters: Corqurst Hialdan and her daughter, Krss, who has a prominent role in the sequel, Hand of Fate. You can see both characters' profiles and pictures in the gallery. This story doesn't have very much in the way of plot, it just attempts to explain the history of the twins and the short war.

Hand of Fate

genre: fantasy/mystery ~ rating: R ~ words: 13,225 ~ warnings: incest themes, morbidity, and I'm still very sadistic with my characters.

summary: Mark Hialdan, son of Queen Corqurst, is faced with the mystery of a murder on the Hialdan estate, a disembodied hand and some very unpleasant secrets in his family's past.

comments: Sequel to The Stone of Truth. This one has a mystery plot, and the characters are the twin children of Corqurst (Krss and Mark) and Rythall Krallan. I had intended to write a trilogy that explained the children's past up to the point of the Tzel RP. Nastiness came, and the third story didn't happen. Too bad. Now I forgot what was going to happen, and you'll never know either. But the story is stand-alone, and I think the mystery is cool enough to make it worth reading. It helps to read the story above, though, first. One last warning-- I was in my minimalistic writing phase.. you'll see what I mean.

The Hour of Light

genre: fantasy ~ rating: G ~ words: 471

summary: I could sympathise with the ones who still feared the Hour of Light, our world was after all flattening under an infinite liquid plane. But I knew that the neighbour was the only one who could understand. Like I did.

comments: I wrote this right after I woke from this lit dream. I think I managed to capture the essence of the dream.

The Arean Bilogy

genre: science-fiction ~ rating: G ~ words: 842

summary: Harvin and Deena have problems one dimension less than normal people do.

comments: A silly little story playing around with amateur physics and my theories about ghosts. It's the oldest story on this page-- it was written nine years ago.

Mood

genre: fantasy ~ rating: G ~ words: 514

summary: The feeling of paining a loved one's lung with each breath you draw.

comments: I wrote this with someone who was a friend. He's gone from my life, but this is one of the few memories I'm allowing myself to keep of him. It was written in one of my depression phases, and it shows.

Slime

genre: fantasy ~ rating: G ~ words: 954 ~ warnings: slime.

summary: A normal girl walking through a forest at night is being chased by slimy branches.

comments: This story is about a stalker I used to know and the nasty tricks he played on me. The "helpers" also turned out to be fakes in the end, so this is even more symbolic now. It's a pretty dark thing.

On the bed of the hidden room

genre: poetry ~ rating: G ~ words: 69

summary: Two people lying on a bed, divided by a sword in knightly chastity, waiting for the doors to open.

comments: A little poem about guilt. Manda helped me put it in this actual form.

Rules for a Successful Documentation

genre: list ~ rating: G ~ words: 249

summary: The top ten rules for writing a scientific thesis.

comments: Written instead of a successful documentation for my BS majoring project.
